Extech Conductivity Meter Is Great
I have many instruments by Extech and this one is just like all others from this maker - simple and works great. Hihgly recommended for pool operators. I have no means of calibrating it, but its self-calibration feature seesm okay.

Not consistent for alkalinity
We bought this to make our Acidic RO water more alkaline. When we first installed it, we checked the ph of the water and the ph was alkaline. Now, after just a few weeks, the ph is acidic as if we didn't have it installed.

Nice compliment to my existing system!

Great quiet air purifier
Some of the online specs are misleading. The Blueair 403 unit (at least the one I received) actually has 4 speeds, just like the Blueair 402! Even the manufacturer's own website as of this review lists it as having only 3 speeds. The only difference between the 402 and 403 is that the 403 comes with a small electronic timer that is magnetic (you can put it on your refrigerator or on the Blueair unit itself) which shows you when 6 months are up and it's time to replace the filter. This is handy, but not really needed. So, if you can still find a 402 (now discontinued) for a good price, I'd recommend you grab it!

This is a great unit but it is a bit larger than I expected. If you have a small bedroom or office, it may look a bit imposing. It runs very quiet at the two lowest settings and even at the third setting, I found the sound soothing enough to sleep with. In fact, the first night I had it, I put it on the 3 speed setting and found the sound quiet nice and...

Nice purifier, but the warranty is a scam!
I bought this purifier based on it's build quality and purification capabilities, and also because of the 10 year warranty stated on the amazon page. The unit is powerful and cleans the air in my bedroom very well - within two days, it has completely relieved my sinus problems during this heavy pollen season. It also seems solidly built and it is very silent on the lowest setting (I cannot hear it over the birds chirping outside my closed window).

I would rate this purifier five stars, if the warranty was not a complete scam: it states on the amazon website that there is a 10-year warranty. However, the warranty information that comes with the purifier states that there is only a one-year limited warranty, and that that warranty is only valid if you have proof that you replaced the filter after 6 months. So, if you were not to replace your filter, the warranty would be valid for only 6 months.

You CAN get a 5 year warranty, and even a lifetime warranty, if...
Quiet Enery Efficient and it Works!
I should start with the fact that everyone in our household has allergies, even the dog I think, but that had not been confirmed. Currently we have the Blueair units in all the bedrooms and family room. The best thing about Blueair units is they work! We really feel a difference. Before getting Blueair my wife was not able to sleep thru the night. She would get congested and her throat would get dry so she kept waking up to drink water. Whatever was giving her trouble is now gone from the air and she is finally able to get a good nights sleep.
Outside the fact that this unit cleans the air, I do also like that it is steel construction ( I did a lot of research and that is hard to find), its quiet!!!, and its energy efficient. As for warranty, the warranty card says mail in for free 5 year warranty.

Easy install and great tasting water
This is a super easy install, two screws and a couple high quality push in fittings for the tubes. If you don't read instructions you will want to know that the filter screws onto the top connection (inside the stainless housing). When you first turn it on there is a black stream of powdered carbon. It isn't toxic but who wants it sitting in your hot water dispenser. To avoid this be sure to run water through the system for a minute or two before you hook it to something that holds water.

Overall a great product. The initial buy may be higher than some but the annual costs are much lower so you will be ahead in the long run.

Excellent Plastic RO tank
I was in the water treatment business for 8 years and have seen many RO products. This, IMHO, rates 5 stars. It is well constructed and came with a valve even though the info page said it would have to be purchased separately.

Part required to connect to your system
Assuming you want to connect this to an RO system, which is likely using 1/4" OD tubing, you'll want an Adapter for 1/4" tube OD x 1/4" NPTF (Female) pipe. I found one that works on the McMaster-Carr website [...]. Product number 1901K29. It's a chemical-resistant PVDF tube fitting, and is Food Grade rated by FDA. Would be nice if Amazon or this seller offered it, as my local Home Depot did not.

As far as the tank rating goes, it holds water. I need to boost my water pressure from the well in order for my refrigerator to take water from this tank. One more thing to add to my list.
Much Better
So I bought this as a second replacement to my original metal RO tank, the new metal one's bladder went out after 3 weeks, ugh...
I've had this about 4 months, and other than my initial trouble finding some adapters to get it connected to my existing system, it's been trouble free.

I hated the inset nipple on this though, was very difficult to build an adapter set to attach it in place of my old metal one, the trick I used was a brass-coupler of the right size so it would inset properly.

The best carbon filter, bar none.
The first thing I did was Google: Environmental Working Group, and checked out years of data on what is in my tap water. Very informative review above. We've been very happy with this unit, which we've had for almost three years now. The faucet still works great. Switching filters is easy. I have kids and it's good to know that I don't have to worry about arsenic.
MultiPure 880Sb
The filter was relatively easy to install. I really like the fact that the canister is stainless steel. We had been using an Amway plastic canister filter that started leaking because I think it got too hot and warped from being under the sink and near the dishwasher. The only negative I can think of is the plastic fittings going in and coming out are 1/4 inch instead of 3/8 inch. Apparently they just changed to 1/4 inch, I'm not sure why. The dispenser/spout seems better than what you would buy at a hardware store. But if you ever change it out, you will have to adapt a 1/4" to the standard 3/8" that most dispensers have. This seems to be a good product. Water tastes great and it will be easy to change out the filter.

Great product, great customer service, exceptional value
I bought this alkaline ionizer through Amazon from IOpureAlkalineWater and installed it yesterday. I had purchased a NuCell ionizer for a friend and installed it 4 months ago so I am able to do a little comparison. The IOpure machine was $400. less and has more features: 4 levels of alkaline settings. It comes with a 3 pre-filter unit which is optional to install (many systems do not have this added feature).
An additional carbon filter for inside the unit was included (another bonus). I had been using and installing for others a 5 stage reverse osmosis system for the past 16 years and I was introduced to alkaline water systems which produce what I like to call "LIVING WATER".
There is definitely an energetic feature to the water that flows through these plates in the unit. Water Ionizer
So far we are happy with the water produced by this machine. It does all we expected it to. After using the machine for several week, you can tell a difference in the taste of our water. Even the neighbor children "like our water" Good thing.
