I love my Big Berkey!
This water filter system is great! This system gives us clean, great tasting water. After looking into other water filter systems, we decided the Berkey system would be very effective at filtering anything that was in the water that we didn't want in our bodies. This unit is the perfect size for our family of four. We camp a lot and taking the Berkey with us is easier than hauling a bunch of water bottles. Now we can set this up at camp, fill it with the available water, and then fill our reusable water bottles with clean water from the Berkey.

Berkey
I have always been a water drinker but I usually drink hot water. Cold water just never seemed palpable to me; I never knew why. I think I've figured it out. Hot water somehow masked the mineral and chemical taste of the water. Since having my Berkey drinking water has taken on new meaning. I LOVE the taste. No need to heat my water anymore! I highly recommend getting the spigot with the glass vile attached. It takes the guess work out of how much water to add to the Berkey each night.

I had a problem with the two Black Berkey filters. They would not filter out the red dye. I contacted them and presto they sent two replacement filters THAT DAY, they did not wait for me to send the defective filters before they sent the replacements. They even issued a call tag to pick up the bad filters at their expense. Customer service was on TOP of every communication.
The hardest part in the process is determining which Berkey Water filter outfit will work best for you. The prices from advertiser to advertiser is not that big of a difference for price evaluation. Then order from these folks, IF the price is higher here it is worth it in customer support.
