Stick with the Berkey
I ordered this from another website using the promo code "water". If you know the website be aware that all sales are final and they accept no returns. wish I'd have known that before I threw away a couple hundred bucks on this junk. Got the filter and couldnt get it to produce more than 1 cup of water in several hours. I took it apart several times and still nothing. It's a water filter, shouldn't have had any problems but did. even the instructions were bassackwards. the photo shows to assemble with rings on the bottom but if you read the directions it states to put the rings inside the pot.
called the customer service dept for help because the unit would not produce water but got an answering machine. left a message and still no return phone call. So I'm out a couple hundred bucks for something that did not work.
Not happy with the flouride filter either. Berkey filters are better in my opinion. Can blow air through the propur easily. Can't do that with the berkey. The...

I was a little weary of purchasing this setup after reading the reviews, but after having drank Berkey water from two different friend's systems (living in the same area as I do, so the water source is the exact same), I thought, hey- i'll take my chances. To me and my husband, Berkey water has an off taste. I can't describe it...it just doesn't taste good-- definitely not something I would be excited about guzzling by the quart. I was concerned about the slow flow rate but other than that, the other "issues" weren't really an issue for me. I received my shipment from the infowars shop in about a week and a half (despite the blizzard the midwest was hit with during my shipment period). Waste of money!!!!!!!
I'm very disappointed with this product. I got the product from the InfoWars.com website because I was given an additional 10% off. First of all, the product took over two weeks to ship. Second of all, I felt that there was something wrong with the filter system because it takes hours and hours to get a couple cups of water with the regular dome filter. Then when you add the fluoride filter (an additional $55)forget about getting a drink of water because you'll be literally waiting all day for a cup of water. Unbelievable! It is the slowest filter and biggest waste of money. It looks really cheap so I can't even keep it on my counter because it is a eye sore. The lid that sits on top of the container is over sized and looks like they took it from a cheap pots and pans set. Realistically this product is not worth more than $40. What a rip off!
