This is a lower quality import. The unit works, but when you install it, you need to have some knowledge of plumbing. The unit does not include Plumber's Grease of the 4 cartridges 'O-rings'. double check all factory installed tubing connections; most are not secure and will leak, so before charging unit make certain you remove the c-clamp and push/pull on all connects (remember to replace the c-clamps). The instruction booklet (ha ha ha) poorly translated into English, is written for all five models without identifying the differences (some models are standard and some use have electronics components), and absolutely no directions to direct you as to which tube is connected to which spot. The only indicator for correct hookup is the tubes are colored and you need to match that color to a 'colored plug' on the unit, then look at the booklet to find the tiny diagram that labels the colors so you know that red is waste line, whit is supply line, blue to dispenser, and yellow to...

Broken fittings from shipping.
If your a do it yourself type this is a good buy. But,, you need to be a plumber to beat all the leaks.
Mine arrived with a broken quick connect elbow fitting. Luckily, i had a replacement here from plumbing my old unit. Otherwise, a trip to lowe's would have happened.
The orings on the spin on filter housings could be a little thicker. They have to be aligned perfectly and be very tight to seal good. All three leaked when i turned the water on..
The pro's are straight forward here. The filters are cheaper than some of the other units. I had an old whirlpool wher25 and the memebrane and filters were about $85.00. These are about $50.00 or a little less on amazon. So if you don't mind fiddling with those dumb orings you'll be ok.
The unit is pretty fast to recover. Usually within an hour its ready for another run. I use mine for the icemaker, cooking water and pet water.
