Not faulty - other reviewer didn't read the instructions.
My water filtration leaked at first, and so I read the instructions carefully. It has you put petroleum jelly on the rubber ring on the inside of the top part, and once I did this no more leaks ever since.
This filter works well. Water tastes funky for the first few days but then becomes wonderfully clean and good tasting.
Great filter, inexpensive compared to many others - just make sure to read the instructions carefully.

Faulty Device
I purchased the water filter and installed it as directed. The filter which sits on the counter top leaked everytime I turned on the water. I called the seller Interspective LLC and they knew very little about the product they were selling and told me to contact Seychelle directly. I spoke with Seychelle and they told me to take the device apart and make sure there was a rubber ring in the filter compartment which there was. They told me to make sure I screwed the top on tight. It helped a little but it continued to leak. The told me I needed someone 'strong' to tighten it up. When I asked them how many they sold they couldn't give me a definitive answer. I also asked them why the product wasn't on their website (this should of been a hint), they told me they decided to no longer sell it on their website. Now I know why. Buyer beware!
