product great - shipping box problematic
The product is genuine and works perfectly as a replacement lamp for the Trojan 7 UV system. First shipment was in the original retail product box and arrived broken. Shipping a light bulb costing >$100 "naked" suggests that the lights are not 'on' in the warehouse? Quick and easy return via Amazon. Second shipment was properly packaged, and arrived intact. Rate 4 stars since the shipping from Amazon is problematic. There is no problem with the product.

just what was needed
Product was exactly what was needed and at a reasonable price. Other sites were more costly and further away. Nothing more needs to be explained.
